The cottage is set back from the road which permits excellent privacy.  There are forested areas on the property as well as lawn areas for children and adults alike to enjoy soccer, bocce ball, etc.  The property slopes gradually toward the lakeshore.  The cottage itself is 80 feet from the lakeshore with excellent lake views from many of the principal and secondary rooms.

Where exactly is the cottage located?

The cottage is situated on a municipally maintained and plowed year round road on Kingshott Lake.  Kingshott Lake is south of Parry Sound about 15 minutes or 14 km.  Kingshott Lake is located between Hwy #400 and Georgian Bay heading west from exit #217.

What amenities does the kitchen have?

The kitchen has a full sized fridge, electric cooktop, and wall oven.  There is also a microwave, toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker, griddle, slow cooker, utensils, dinnerware, pots and pans.  Outside on the deck is a propane BBQ.

Is there a firepit?

Yes, there is a firepit.  Fire burning is permitted two hours before sunset or later to 2 hours after sunrise or earlier.  If a fire ban is in place no camp fires will be permitted.  Please be conscious of noise around the fire to avoid disrupting others in the area.  Remember to bring your own fire wood as wood is not supplied.

What is the configuration of the living space?

The kitchen, living and dining rooms exhibit an open concept design with views of the water and walk outs to the sun deck.  Down the hall from this main living area are three bedrooms (Master with ensuite, Nautical and Beach Rooms) and one main bathroom.  On the lower level is the games room, media room, walk out to the covered porch, a third bathroom and two additional bedrooms (Log Cabin and Kid's Room).
